Smithsonian's North American Mammals: An awesome resource for determining what species of mammal you might find anywhere on the Continent. Entries also include basic natural history information and links to the American Society of Mammalogy.

Burke Museum Mammalogy: Excellent basic species accounts for all the mammals of Washington state including detailed range maps based on the Washington Gap Analysis.

Virtual Dirt Time: Great website with lots of photos and information on tracks and signs by Dennis Deck, based in Portland Oregon. Includes an extensive "quiz section" which is great to test your tracking knowledge.

bear-tracker.com: Loads of well organized photos and information on various species tracks. Managed by Kim Cabrera, charter member of the International Society of Professional Trackers.
